EXPRESS ENTRY

CANADIAN EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM HAS TWO STEPS.

STEP 1: EXPRESS ENTRY PROFILE

Electronic (Online) Express Entry profile will be created for potential candidates. This is a secure form that they will use to provide information about their:

  • AGE
  • EDUCATION
  • WORK EXPERIENCE
  • LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

Those who meet the criteria listed under one of the Federal Immigration Programs listed below will be accepted into a pool of candidates.

  • Federal Skilled Workers
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • Canadian Experience Class

STEP 2:

The high-ranking candidates in the pool will be invited to apply for permanent residence Candidates will be ranked against others in the pool using a point-based system called the COMPREHENSIVE RANKING SYSTEM (CRS). The cut-off points for each draw is decided by IRCC. This draw takes place every 2 weeks, 24 times in a year

Points are awarded using the information in their profile. Candidates with the highest scores in the pool will be issued an Invitation to Apply. Candidates will be awarded points for skills and experience factors. A candidate can get additional points for:

A job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (50 points)

A nomination by a province or territory (600 points)

These additional points will make a candidate rank high enough and it may help in getting an invitation to apply at the next eligible draw of candidates. Please contact us for additional information
